Week in Review: New Job, Tweak'd Shoulder, Still Here
Started orientation for a shift manager role at a newly opening McDonald's. Kitchen training kicks off tomorrow. Nerves are there — the gym has been packed early in the week and I can feel eyes on me, wondering what my deal is. But I keep showing up.
Slightly tweaked my left shoulder Monday at the gym. Took it easy on anything outside my power zone. Sore but not immobile — wasn't sure it'd be better by Tuesday or even this morning. But after a 5-mile interval run this afternoon, it feels remarkably better.
Leigh has a new side hustle that could become her main thing. Holding off on details until I talk with her about how much she wants shared here.
Progress is nominal. One foot in front of the other.
